Lowell Cafe describes themselves as "America’s first cannabis restaurant and lounge." USA Today did a feature story on their business, which presents an interesting dilemma:
"[T]here's still something that Lowell Cafe needs to resolve: How to turn over tables faster.“We definitely have to figure out a process of gently getting people to leave,” says executive chef Andrea Drummer, who sees lines out the door of her restaurant and reservations nearly fully booked a month out."
I've known a lot of bar owners over the years. I imagine they would give almost ANYTHING for customers who constantly spend money and never leave. Michigan is still a year away from licenses for "consumption lounges" but you will want to get your business plans together right now.
